Work Party Volunteer (Non-Reserves) (Himalayan Balsam Pulling)
Spend a day helping to eradicate an invasive species, right at the top of the river catchment.
We hope to slow the spread of Himalayan Balsam further downstream on the river Dart. No tools or experience needed; just enthusiasm to do some plant pulling and spend a day outside in the quiet Dartmoor countryside.
Please bring outdoor clothes and gloves, as well as a packed lunch. There will be a coffee break and biscuits provided. We will confirm parking arrangements closer to the time.
